| CATS is an enthusiastic
amateur dramatic (amdram) society based in the village of Ashurst on the edge of the New Forest. That's the Ashurst near Totton in Hampshire,
so neither the one in West Sussex nor the one in Kent. (You've probably driven through on the road from Southampton
to Lyndhurst. Next time, slow down and give us a wave.) We put on a Christmas production every year (frequently, but not always, a pantomime) with a large cast of adults and children. In the past we have put on a drama production in summer, and we are gradually moving towards year round productions, and other activities for members, including play readings. CATS also has a thriving Youth Theatre group, which puts on its own productions. You can find out more about how we came to be this way on our History page.
